«Petersburg brings together friends 2012»

I.                   Funders and organizers:

Administration of the Kirov District of St. Petersburg

Gymnasium No. 284 of the Kirov District of Saint-Petersburg

The Festival is held with the support of the members of the Legislative Assembly of Saint-Petersburg Vladimir Milonov.

Direct management of the Festival's Organizing Committee.

II.                Goals and objectives of the Festival:

·         establishment of a new channel of dialogue among high school students of the Baltic Sea States (Germany, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) and Russia (including Karelia), based on common European values;

·         development and promotion of projects and initiatives high school students with creative and social significance for our region;

·         formation of positive values and attitudes of respect and understanding of the rich diversity of cultures and national traditions through creative communication;

·         providing high school students active life position;

·         the creation of open spaces for free social networking high school students.

III.              Attendance of the Festival:

·         annually invited for participants in the Festival of one delegation from each member country in number of 10 persons (8 students and 2 head);

·         age 15-18 years.

·         language Festival – Russian, English.

IV.              The framework of the Festival include:

·         development and protection of social projects;

·         master classes for different types of decorative and applied arts;

·         communication training;

·         business games;

·         sports and creative activities;

·         bus and walking tours to Saint-Petersburg.

Each year the Organizing Committee determines the theme of the Festival.

The theme of 2012 «World without borders».

The Festival is being for 4 days.

Theme days:

1. Meeting Day, the opening of the Festival.
2. Day of extreme training and sport.
3. Debate and Conference «World without borders». Russian House (folklore)
4. Official closing of the Festival, the Governments of the participating countries. Making flower beds with the emblem of the Festival.

Prepare to the opening of the Festival: song (in national language) or a dance number (modern or national dance). If not, then a small creative greeting (3 min).

A short speech at the Conference on the theme « The problems of youth  in my country» (English).
If you will be in the national language, it must be translated into English.

Each participant should have a sport clothes.

The Festival is held from 16.05.2012 to 19.05.2012 in Saint-Petersburg in Gymnasium No. 284: 198217, Saint-Petersburg, etc. Narodnogo Opolchenija Prospect, 135, tel/fax: 756-62-24, 756-03-80.

V.                Funding of the Festival:

The Festival is funded by budget and extra-budgetary resources. Accommodation, meals and trips funded by the host. Delegation pay traveling servise to the Festival and visa-service.
